Tours operate rain or shine. Winter private tours available when the Fort is closed to general admission.

- Visitor Center open during the season with restrooms and amenities
- No full service food vendors on site — groups are welcome to bring bagged lunches (carry-in/carry-out)

Frequently Asked Questions:
How far in advance should we book? At least two weeks in advance to guarantee availability. Peak season (June–September) books fast — earlier is better.
How long is the tour? Approximately 75–90 minutes. For larger groups departing in staggered waves, allow extra time.
Are restrooms available? Yes, public restrooms are available at the Visitor Center. There are no restroom facilities on the tour itself.
Can we bring lunch? Yes — Fort Adams State Park is carry-in/carry-out. You’re welcome to use the grounds before or after your tour.
Is the Fort accessible for guests with mobility needs? Parts of the Fort are accessible, but the full tour includes uneven terrain and stairs. Contact us ahead of your visit and we’ll do our best to accommodate your group.
Can we do a private tour in winter? Yes! Private tours are available year-round, including during the off-season when the Fort is closed to general admission.
