By Car
Enter through Fort Adams State Park. Parking is available on-site.
By Bike
Ride along Ocean Drive for a scenic approach directly to the Fort.
By Ferry
Seasonal ferry service connects downtown Newport to Fort Adams.

Do I need tickets in advance?
Advance booking is recommended, especially during peak season, but walk-ups are welcome when capacity allows.
Are tours rain or shine?
Yes. Tours operate in most weather conditions. Please dress accordingly.
Is the Fort accessible?
Parts of the Fort are accessible, though some areas include uneven surfaces, gravel, and stairs. Please contact us ahead of your visit for specific needs.
Can I bring a group?
Yes. We offer private group tours for schools, organizations, and special events.

Parking is available within Fort Adams State Park, a short walk from the Visitor Center.
